Welcome to the Home of Masonic Lodge no. 318

What is Freemasonry?

Freemasonry (or Masonry, for short) is one of the oldest fraternal organization in the world, a 300-year-old worldwide fraternity of like-minded people committed to bettering themselves and their communities. Masonry encompasses a series of moral teachings based on allegory and the symbolism of ancient stonemasonry. But we’re so much more than our history. We’re a way to find friendship, purpose, and connection.

Masonic Life

A Freemason is taught moral lessons and self-knowledge by a series of ritual dramas – a progression of allegorical plays performed within each Lodge. These rituals follow ancient forms, using stonemasons’ customs and tools as allegorical guides.

Our Values

Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity are the core of our values

Register Interest

Many people assume that to become a Freemason, one must be invited to join.  This is not correct.  In fact, while members might encourage their friends to join, they do not typically recruit or invite candidates for membership.

A person who is interested in joining is encouraged to simply ask a member.

To ask, simply fill out our online form using the "Register Interest" button below and a member of our lodge will be happy to deal with your enquiry.
